Open Letter

Dear Mr. Friend

Thank you for your invitation to join the UK Independence Party but it is an offer I can not accept, although I totally agree with your policy of complete withdrawal from the European Union, I do not believe it is in the power of UKIP to achieve this. The first priority of all of us who wish to see an Independent United Kingdom or even an independent England is to rid this country of this terrible Labour government who are striding to a UNITED STATES of EUROPE the only way to do this is to vote Conservative. The vote for the Conservative party must be over whelming s to prevent the other pro Europe party the Libdems gaining any sort of influence.

At the last European election I voted tactically by voting UKIP, knowing that UK most successful MEP Daniel Hannan would re-gain his seat my vote would help prevent any pro Europe candidate being voted in and I am pleased to say that is exactly what happened. UKIP at that moment by gaining many seats at the EU Parliament proved once and for all that the British people want out of Europe, although the other parties think they do not have to consider the public, the Conservative party stood up and took notice and we should be thankful that this happened. With Mr. Kilroy-Silk becoming the major influence in UKIP, his idea of becoming the party to govern Britain and as an ex Labour MP his hatred for the Conservative Party, plus his wish to see the destruction of the party is ludicrous and dangerous. Dangerous because all his efforts will go to giving the Pro European Parties more power and the eventual UNITED STATES of EUROPE.

Mr. Friend UKIP always maintained that they would not contest a seat where the opposition candidate was Eurosceptic, so why are contesting Sittingbourne & Sheppy when we have an excellent Eurosceptic candidate in Gordon Henderson?

To finalise the Conservative Party has a lot of people who think like me so why not join us, with your help maybe we can influence the Party to at seek a referendum of the British people to whether we remain in the EU, because I can assure you that no other party will allow the people that choice.

Yours Faithfully

Dear Mr Clarke

I am writing on behalf of the U.K Independence Party (Sittingbourne and Sheppey Constituency), in reply to your open letter sent via email and which is posted on your web site.

We are sorry you are unable to accept our offer of membership, which is sad when it appears we share the same goal. A United Kingdom Independent from Europe. We are the only political party that can and will achieve this, as our numbers grow on a daily basis. UKIP has stated from day one that we need to pull out of Europe and now other political parties (Conservative) have jumped on the band wagon to obtain the popular vote. We at UKIP intend to keep our promises once we are elected into office, most other parties, if they do get elected will soon forget about those people who voted for them on their polices on Europe. UKIP will make a difference at the General Election and Local Election’s as more people come to realise they share the same or similar views as our own. And as a result of our growing membership we feel it is time to field Candidates in both Local Elections and the General Election. As Britain’s only Party with a true desire to rid us of the burden of a Federal Europe, UKIP feels it would be a dis-service to our ever increasing support to not contest as many seats as possible, offering people a voice in a political world of spin. After all we are the only Party that has not changed its mind on Europe. We agree with your comments regarding Mr Kilroy-Silk, and yes all the in-fighting has damaged the party, but that is all behind us now, as we go from strength to strength.

Again we thank you for your letter and look forward to our reply being posted on your web site.

Yours Faithfully
