OUT OF EUROPE
At long last we have a politician who faces the truth
Will you all please read the letter below and congratulate Gordon Henderson, he at least realises the only way forward on Tony Blair's United States of Europe, is to ask the people. The question should be "Do you want to continue to be a member of the EU" if the result is a resounding yes we wish to stay then people like myself who consider the EU an abomination will have to shut up and accept the democratic will of the people. Democratic is not a word used very often since 1997.
I make no apology for voting UKIP in the last European Elections it was a protest vote not just against the EU but against Michael Howard who has told our Conservative European MEP' s to affiliate to the European Peoples Party, a group who believe in a United States of Europe.
UKIP has said that they will not stand against prospective MP who favours a withdrawal from the EU, well lets hope they honour that position with Gordon Henderson. The most important factor in the next election is to get rid of this terrible Labour Government.

I thought you might be interested in the following item that has appeared on Derek Wyatt's website:-
"Eight current Conservative PPCs favour
withdrawal from Europe. Following Sean Gabb’s survey of Conservative
candidates, ‘Candidlist’ in 2001, eight current Conservative Parliamentary
Candidates answered yes to the following question:
"If elected or re-elected to Parliament and required to choose between
accepting the supremacy of European Union law in this country and leaving the
European Union, would you vote for British withdrawal?
The eight PPCs who answered yes to this question were:
• Cllr David
Burrowes, PPC Enfield Southgate
• Cllr Karen
Lumley, PPC Redditch
• David Jones,
PPC Clwyd West
•
Gordon Henderson, PPC Sittingbourne & Sheppey
•
Grant Shapps, PPC Welwyn Hatfield
• Iain Stewart,
PPC Milton Keynes South West
• Stephen Crabb,
PPC Presli Pembrokeshire
• Lionel Zetter,
PPC Edmonton
It is worth clarifying my position:-
1) The above statement is true and I make no apologies for my stance in 2001. Nor has my position changed: I will never accept that EU law should have supremacy over that of the United Kingdom!
2) I believe that our country should renegotiate its treaties with the EU to return to the United Kingdom more control over its own affairs, such as in the matter of fisheries. If we fail in those negotiations then I believe that we should hold a referendum and allow the British People to decide whether to stay in the EU under the rules that applied at that time, or to leave the EU entirely.

Gordon
