IS EBAY A CON?
Ebay is the in thing on the internet and I have purchased a few small items for the grandchildren highest value £10 with no trouble, yet when my mother died I had great deal of things I tried to sell I did not get one offer on any of them! Next I tried to purchase a Canon Digital Camera Rebel in UK these are called Canon EOS Digital and sell between £680 to £770 so when I see that some have been auctioned for £540 I though bargain. On 10 occasions I have been pipped on the last few seconds of the auction usually by £10. The closure is followed by an email from a stranger saying that they had noticed I had failed but they could offer me a private deal or the winner had changed their mind. When I suggest that I will only deal C.O.D. to a proper address everything seems to stop. Am I being paranoid?
