During the 60’s & 70’s there were all sorts of demonstrations against the South African regime and apartheid, also nearly all-sporting links were severed with the White South African government. Leading organiser of the anti apartheid was Peter Hain who is now one of the leading lights of the Labour party he was joined by many other Labour activists. Interesting enough Zimbabwe now has a dictator who is responsible for many deaths, famine and ethnic cleansing, yet we still have sporting contacts i.e. cricket with this evil regime and yet no demonstration from Labour supporters or from Mr Hain is it because the Zimbabwean Leader is Robert Mugabe who is black and supported by the Black South African government also is because the ethnic minority is white? How does our local MP Derek Wyatt feel about this?

Interesting enough these same demonstrators were often complaining about the Police who they considered lackeys of the government of the day, those same demonstrators now run the country and have allowed the Police and the Civil Service to become political, if you are a member of the Police Force and the Civil Service you can not belong to the BNP a legal right wing political party but you can belong to left wing groups like the Communist party. What next Policeman and civil servants can only join the Labour Party? Interesting how things change or is it Power Corrupts. Remember Adolf Hitler was voted in to office the German people never got the chance to vote him out. How does our local MP feel about this?
