Conservative Gay Summit 27/2/04

I was shocked to read in the Times yesterday that Conservatives MP’s intend have a “Gay Summit at the House of Commons” a first for any political party they bragged if this is true I can only say I am totally dismayed. Like most people in the UK I do not care what some ones sex life in the privacy of their own home, I also believe that some one should not be discriminated against because they are Homosexual. This also applies to a persons, sex, colour, religion. What I object to is a group of people being given special treatment just because they want to perform an unnatural sex act.

Statistics were recently gathered “to justify Homosexual Marriage” they found that between 5% & 6% of the population were either Homosexual or Lesbian! So why is everyone falling over backwards to accommodate them, I expect more people go swimming, drink red wine etc do we have special treatment for them? Will the Police, fire Brigade start advertising in Wine Magazine or putting up posters at swimming galas.

I have yet to see what makes a Homosexual different apart from their abnormal sexual habits, they have in most cases two legs, two arms a head etc, they have to eat, drink, etc if a special case is needed why not have “ A left handed summit” with an estimated 25% of the population being left handed this would at least be a practical step.

Tony Blair and his terrible government has raised Homosexuals to near Saint hood, the homosexual lobby has an inordinate mount of unjustified power this must be stopped. .

My point is that people should be judged on who they are not what they are, jobs should go to those who can do them, positions of trust to honest people, private life should be just that, there should not be any discrimination and I include positive discrimination. This government has made PC and dictatorships of the British people an art form. I hope a future Conservative government remembers this and does not just become an extension of Tony Blair’s corrupt ideology. To me the freedom of the individual is paramount that’s why I am a member of the Conservative Party let’s hope the Conservative leadership remembers that

Yours Faithfully
