Colin wins Gold at Welsh Open

Sittingbourne Judo Society and Spitfire Capel Judo Club Instructor Colin Carrott travelled to Cardiff to take part in the Welsh Judo Association Welsh Open. Colin a 3rd Dan Black belt fought in the Masters Class and he had his best result in Judo to date, he won Gold in the u90k class winning all his fights with Ippon (Total Victory) an amazing result. Colin who runs his own business in Folkestone DELMAINES is no stranger to Combat Sports he has been International Sambo (Russian Jacket wrestling) Wrestler winning a Bronze in the World Masters, competed in Kurash (Jacket Wrestling from Uzbekistan) Belt Wrestling and recently taken up Submission Wrestling and Sport CombatSombo, Sport CombatSombo is a mixture of Sambo and Kickboxing. As well as being a Black Belt in Judo he also holds Black Belts in Sambo, CombatSombo, Jiu Jitsu, Kurash and Belt Wrestling. Not bad for some one who will be 50 next year, Colin started Judo when his boys started about 20 years ago.
