I'll be there! I have my round trip ticket and now all I got to do is get a OK or play hooky from work. I am very excited about going over again. I am working out trying to get into better shape and compete at 84KG. I play Ice Hockey 2x per week and teach unarmed self defense and run everyday and military physical training but still that is not enough. I'll be going over to different dojo's and try to pick some stuff up like a garbage collector. So from here to March I'll be slowly intensifying my training. Going over to Sittingbourne to compete will be no picnic or disco. There will be many badasses that will want to get the Gold and some of the finest Sombo fighting will be featured by many countries will take place in the quaint little Village of Sittingbourne there this year. I hope to be doing International cup as well as the Vets. I have a good Idea who I'll have to fight in the Cup. either Romauld Legros from Monte Carlo, David Hatch, Danny Carrot 84 KG. I definitely want to stay away from 96KG. I was beaten last year 6-0 by up comer Andy Bell ( Silver European Sombo Vice Champion) and who ever wants to fight the Brave and very Dangerous John Clarke ( Many time British Champion) to be my guest. I would like to Thank very much Grandmaster Martin Clarke and Keith Costa who will work there collective butts off setting up this British Rolls Royce Sombo event. Two or three events for me in the same day means , lots of fights and wear and tear on the body and after it's all said and done it's Happy Hour at Clarkee's Bar. I hope there is a guitar there this year , I would like to do a Stones Set in the club, eat and drink a few. Thanks and good Luck to all who will make this exodus to Sittingbourne.
