ANONYMOUS LETTER 29 April 2004
Dear Editor
As somebody who has been reasonable successful in sport and as some one who can be outspoken I have attracted my fair share of detractors. Over the years I have had a lot of anonymous letters written by cowardly people who are to frightened to give their name and in all occasions they always get their facts wrong. Normally I laugh them of and on occasions I have posted the most ridiculous on my Judo Club notice board to give the members a chuckle. The latest letter has for the first time made me very angry and I expect the letter writer will be pleased to hear this. Why this time simple they wrote a really insulting, rude letter about me to my mother. My mother has been very ill of late and had to be rushed to hospital at the weekend, her illness was not helped by having to read a very rude insulting letter, which upset her a great deal. So the anonymous letter writer had some success in upsetting an elderly ill lady, they should be very pleased with themselves. I just hope this cowardly writer does not reveal himself or herself to me.
Why the letter? It seems they do not care for how I keep my dog in a shed; trouble is I do not own a dog!
Yours Faithfully
Martin Clarke
